Since September 2024, we have observed a constant strengthening of ideologization of Belarusian education, and one of the manifestations of this phenomenon was a constant increase in the share of ideologically oriented news in the information agenda of the official resources of the Ministry of Education. According to the results of January, the share of ideology on the Ministry’s resources reached its peak indicators, exceeding the mark of 40% on the site of the Ministry and the mark of 50% on the official Telegram channel. More interesting is the sharp decrease in the share of ideology on the Ministry’s resources in February: on the official website of the Ministry 3 out of 17 news items (18%) had ideological coloring, while on the official Telegram channel there were 43 out of 155 (28%) such news items. The February indicators not only contradict the trend of the previous months, but are also significantly lower than the figures for 2024 as a whole. The decrease in the ideologization of the information agenda of the official resources of the Ministry of Education reflects to some extent the state of Belarusian education, where in February we observed the following phenomena:
1. Course on digitalization of procedures.
2. Continuation of the practice of planting the personality cult of Aliaksandr Lukashenka in Belarusian education.
3. Conducting a course on information isolation of students and teachers.
4. Institutionalization of political repression in the sphere of education.
5. Weakening of ideologization of Belarusian education at all levels.
6. Strengthening of militarization of Belarusian education.
7. Preservation of record low indicators of international educational cooperation.
8. Intensification of activity of Aliaksei Talai’s structures (Charity Fund of Aliaksei Talai, Charity Fund “United Fatherland”) in Belarusian education.
9. Imposition of pro-Russian propaganda in Belarusian education.
